Leaders’ Whereabouts, Today

In the provincial election, Liberal leader Stephen McNeil will launch his party’s platform today.

 

The event is due to get underway at 1:30 this afternoon in Halifax.

 

The Liberals are the last of the three main parties to unveil their platform.

 

Meanwhile, Progressive Conservative Leader Jamie Baillie will start his day with a media availability in Halifax at 9:30, this morning.

 

He’ll spend the rest of the day campaigning with P-C candidates in the Halifax area before heading to Springhill for an event this evening.
NDP Leader Gary Burrill will also campaign in the Halifax area today and make a policy announcement on health care infrastructure.

 

Meanwhile NDP candidates in Cape Breton are due to hold an event in Sydney at 10:00 this morning to talk about what their party’s platform means for the Island.
