Late Start To School Because Of Storm

The Cape Breton-Victoria Regional Centre for Education says all schools and worksites are delaying opening by two hours, today because of weather conditions.

The Centre says if a school usually starts at 9:00 in the morning, it will start at 11:00, instead.

It says if a school bus normally picks up students at 8:00, it will pick them at 10:00.

The Centre’s elementary and Middle School students already have the day off for a teacher grading and evaluation day.

Meanwhile, classes are cancelled at Etoile de l’Acadie in Sydney, today.

And the Regional Municipality says Transit Cape Breton buses are operating on all routes, today.
