Kousoulis Promises New Measures For CB

Provincial Liberal leadership candidate Labi Kousoulis announced three measures specific to Cape Breton today.

Kousoulis is pledging to spend a million dollars a year on a new fund to provide seed investments for Cape Breton tech start-ups.

He says if he becomes leader, he’ll provide new staffing and resources through the Immigrant Services Association of Nova Scotia to better attract and retain international students in Cape Breton.

Kousoulis says decisions on both programs will be made in Cape Breton.

The leadership hopeful is also promising support for tourism operators to develop new year-round attractions and to annualize the tourism economy.
