Kousoulis says as Minister of Advanced Education he championed new investments in Cape Breton University and the new campus of the Community College on the Sydney Waterfront.
Kousoulis is spending his first full week of the campaign in Cape Breton on what he calls a listening and meeting tour.
Halifax area MLA Iain Rankin is so far the only other declared candidate in the leadership race.
