Kelloway Wins Liberal Nomination In Cape Breton-Canso

Glace Bay’s Mike Kelloway has won the Liberal nomination in the federal riding of Cape Breton-Canso.

Kelloway was picked as the party’s candidate after yesterday’s nomination meetings in Sydney Forks and Port Hawkesbury.

He’ll face long-time Tory MLA Alfie MacLeod, who stepped down to run federally for the Conservatives.

The NDP and Greens have yet to name candidates for the riding.

Long-time Cape Breton-Canso Liberal MP Rodger Cuzner is not reoffering in this fall’s election.
