by Cape Breton-Canso MP Mike Kelloway announced $300,000 in federal money for Ski Ben Eoin, this morning.
Kelloway says the ski hill will use the money to upgrade its snow making system to make it more energy efficient and capable of making snow at warmer winter temperatures.
The hope is the hill will be able to extend its season further into the fall and spring.
Some of the money will also be used for LED trail lighting and replacing main components of the chair lift.
