Kelloway Announces $3.5 Million For CBU

Cape Breton-Canso MP Mike Kelloway announced $3.5 million in federal money for Cape Breton University, this morning.

The money is coming through the Canada Coal Transition Initiative – Infrastructure Fund.

It will be used to help equip science classes and labs in CBU’s new Centre for Discovery and Innovation.

The university says the new research and teaching facilities will encourage technology-based research.
