John Morgan Hopes To Run For NDP in Glace Bay-Dominion

Former Regional Mayor John Morgan is hoping to return to politics.

Morgan plans to seek the NDP nomination in the provincial riding of Glace Bay-Dominion.

He says he was partly inspired to put his hat in the ring after working with Regional Councillor Kendra Coombs as she campaigns in the Cape Breton Centre by-election.

Coombs is the NDP candidate in the race.

He says he’s also pleased with NDP leader Gary Burrill’s commitment to deal with regional inequalities, including equalization for the Regional Municipality.
