Job Fair For Teachers Interested In Moving To Nova Scotia

There’s going to be a virtual job fair today for teachers interested in moving to Nova Scotia to teach.

The job fair is being co-hosted by the Nova Scotia Education Common Services Bureau that provides a variety of services to support the public education system.

It’s running online from 4:00 this afternoon to 7:00 tonight.

The organizers say participants will be able to meet with representatives from all 7 English Regional Centres for Education and the province’s French school board.

Today’s job fair comes with Premier Tim Houston announcing earlier this year plans to lower entry requirements for education programs to help address the teacher shortage.
