Janet Hazelton Re-elected As Nurses Union President

The Nova Scotia Nurses Union says Janet Hazelton has been re-elected as union president.

The NSNU says Hazelton has held the position since October 2002.

The union represents more than 8,600 registered nurses, licensed practical nurses and nurse practitioners.

It says Hazelton was re-elected with a majority vote but hasn’t released the numbers.

She’ll serve another two-year term as union president.
