The military says drivers in Cape Breton can expect to see an increase in military vehicle traffic starting tomorrow in advance of a training exercise in Sydney, next week.
It says equipment is being transported from an Engineer Support Regiment in Base Gagetown, New Brunswick for the exercise.
However, it also says it doesn’t expect any traffic delays.
The exercise will begin a week from Wednesday and see about 450 military members setting up a temporary camp at Open Hearth Park in Sydney.
An Open House will be held at the camp on November 12th.
The exercise will run until November 23rd and take place in various locations around the Island.
