Howie Centre Man Makes Court Appearance On Murder Charge

A Howie Centre man is now due back in court later this week on a murder charge after a woman died at a King’s Road home on Friday.

73 year-old Gregory James Dilney also lived in the home and was held in custody over the weekend.

Dilney remains on remand after making a court appearance today and his case is due back in court for a bail hearing on Friday.

Regional Police say they were called to the home at around 8:00 Friday morning for a reported domestic disturbance.

They say 71-year-old Brenda Ann Dilney was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics who worked to save her.
