Houston Addresses Rapid Testing Situation In CB

Premier Tim Houston today addressed concerns in Cape Breton over the availability of rapid COVID-19 testing.

He says lots of work is being done to increase access to rapid testing on the island.

Houston is commending Sydney’s Family Place Resource Centre that distributed kits in Sydney River and New Waterford today.

They’re planning to give out more kits tomorrow at the Miners’ Forum in Glace Bay and at the Emera Centre Northside in North Sydney.

Houston says he’s hoping mobile units will be set up on the island by Friday.
