Board member Frances Burton says residents, staff and animals are all safe and accounted for after the fire.
She says the home suffered significant damage, and accommodations are being arranged for the home’s residents.
The cause of the fire is still undetermined.
Hope House has provided live-in addictions recovery for women for the past two years.
The home’s goal is to empower women to experience freedom from addiction and to restore a sense of dignity and self-worth.
