High Winds Cause Major Damage To Some Local Lobster Traps

Strong winds caused major damage to lobster traps in parts of eastern Cape Breton over the weekend.

Herb Nash fishes out of Glace Bay.

He says fishermen there each lost about 150 traps out of a total of 275.

Nash adds fishermen in harbours from Sydney to Port Morien were hit the hardest because their fishing grounds are exposed to the north wind.
