Herald Talks To Resume, Today

Contract talks are scheduled to resume today between the union for striking news room workers and the Chronicle Herald.

The workers, including two in Sydney, have been on the picket line for 16 months.

Both sides met informally last month after the Herald bought all Transcontinental newspapers in the region, including the Cape Breton Post.

At the time, they agreed to hold formal talks, starting today.
