Herald Ratification Vote, Today

Striking Chronicle-Herald workers are voting on a tentative agreement, today.

The deal was reached after two days of mediation on the weekend.

The terms of the agreement have not been released.

Newsroom workers at the paper, including two in Sydney have been on strike since January of last year.

They walked off the job over a list of contract concessions the Chronicle-Herald said were needed to cope with economic challenges affecting the newspaper industry.
