This is the second year the County’s waste collection has been bumped from a spring event to a fall one because of the pandemic.
Meanwhile, people are being encouraged to consider their heavy garbage items for the County’s Re-use Centres.
The County says the Re-use Centre at the Baddeck transfer station has raised more than $25,000 for non-profits by selling used items.
A similar program was set up in Dingwall in the summer.
