HAT Reaches Fundraising Goal

All upcoming mainstage productions at the Highland Arts Theatre in Sydney will be free of charge after the Theatre reached its fundraising goal.

The HAT launched the Radical Access fundraising campaign after a dramatic drop in ticket sales because of COVID-19.

The campaign calls for ongoing monthly donations from local supporters in exchange for tax-deductible charitable receipts.

It’s now raised more than 600-thousand dollars in less than four months.

The HAT says its live streamed performances will also be viewed for free.
