Halifax-based Child Psychologist in CB Today in Wake of Student Suicides

Halifax-based child psychologist Stan Kutcher is beginning a two-day visit to Cape Breton today in the wake of recent student suicides.

Three students in the Cape Breton-Victoria Regional School Board have taken their own lives in the past six months.

The province asked Kutcher to visit the area to try and understand the mental health needs of local youth and make recommendations.

It says Kutcher will meet with schools, families and communities during his time in Cape Breton.
