Gregg has become well known as a solo artist in recent years. Originally from Torbay, Newfoundland now living in Calgary, Alberta, Gregg is no stranger to the stage playing around 100 shows a year and it shows in his ability to capture a crowd with just an acoustic guitar or with a backing band. Gregg’s self-titled debut album is now available on iTunes.
Gregg Bolger is a Canadian Country Music singer/songwriter. Bolger’s debut self-titled album was released in September 2013 and the single “Small Town Summertime” was distributed to Canadian country radio. “Small Town Summertime” was largely received by country radio stations across Canada and is currently signed to a publishing deal with Crucial Music, based out of Studio City, California.
The album, produced by Clint Curtis and Steve Clarke of Sevenview Studios, contains well written lyrics complemented by unforgettable melodies that cover matters of life, love and heartbreak.
A structural designer by day, the father of two said he has slowed down on the weekend gigs since moving to Calgary two years ago, opening up more time to write and record.
Gregg is set to record a new single this month at C4 Recording Studios located on beautiful ranch just south of Calgary, Alberta. The single is being co-produced by multiple CCMA, ECMA and Juno winning artist George Canyon and Graham Sharkey.
The single is scheduled to be released nationally to Country Radio stations and i-Tunes in January 2015.
