Graffiti Removed From North Sydney Food Bank Building

Graffiti that covered the outside of the North Sydney Food Bank was removed yesterday after a Sydney company volunteered its labour and equipment.

Vandals were caught in the act spray painting the building just the week before.

RMT Industrial Services owner Robert Thomson says he and his staff wanted to help after they heard about the situation.

He adds the Regional Municipality owns the building and will also be doing some work to repaint the exterior.

Food Bank Society co-chair Robert Dolomont says they’re reinvigorated by the generous act after being disheartened and disappointed by the vandalism.

He adds the food bank regularly provides about 170 grocery orders a month.
