Government Money Announced For Dominion’s Hawks Dream Field

Politicians from all three levels of government announced funding for the Hawks Dream Field Project in Dominion, this morning.

Phase 1 of the project will see a fully accessible, new ball field built in the community.

Cape Breton Canso MP Mike Kelloway, Liberal MLA’s Geoff MacLellan and Derek Mombourquette and Regional councillors Darren Bruckschwaiger, Ken Tracey and Cyril MacDoanld were on hand for the announcement at the Dominion Legion.

The federal government is providing 400-thousand dollars to the project while the province and the Regional Municipality are each kicking in 333-thousand.
