Goodfood Onions Recalled Because Of Possible Salmonella Contamination

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency says a brand of onions sold in the province is being recalled because of possible Salmonella contamination.

Goodfood Medium Yellow Onions from Mexico are the affected product.

The recalled onions come in 2lb bags and are labelled either Product of Mexico or Product of USA.

The inspection agency says the onions labelled Product of USA actually came from Mexico.

It says anyone who has the onions should either throw them out or bring them back to the store.
