A brand of lean ground beef that’s been sold in the province has been recalled because of possible E. coli contamination.
Packages of Good Boucher brand Lean Ground Beef are affected.
The recall includes 285-gram packages with a best-before date of March 21st and 510-gram packages with best-before dates of March 19th and March 21st.
The Canadian Food Inspection Agency says the warning was triggered by testing and more products could be recalled.
It also says there have been no reported illnesses connected to the lean ground beef.
