Glace Bay Stabbing Suspect Gets Bail

A 30-year-old Glace Bay man accused of stabbing another man in the community has been released on 4000 dollars bail. Walter Joseph Young is charged with aggravated assault and assault with a weapon (a knife) in connection to the stabbing of a 46-year-old man last week on Seaview Drive.  Police say both men know each other and the victim suffered non-life-threatening stab wounds. Young also has to abide by a host of conditions including a curfew and is due back in court on Sept. 22 to enter pleas to the charges.
