Glace Bay Santa Claus Parade Cancelled, Again

Organizers have cancelled the Glace Bay Santa Claus parade because of the growing number of COVID-19 case in the province.

The Regional Municipality has cancelled mobile parades this year over COVID safety concerns.

But organizers in Glace Bay had planned a drive-by parade.

That would have seen parade floats parked in one spot and families driving past to view them.

But the organizers say they feel they couldn’t ensure people’s safety even with a drive by parade.
