Glace Bay Man Who Died After Being Hit By Vehicle Identified

The man who died after being hit by a vehicle in Glace Bay on Friday night has been identified through his obituary.

89 year-old Frank McCormick was from the Hub in Glace Bay.

He died in Halifax hospital on Sunday afternoon.

Police had been withholding his name, pending notification of next of kin.

McCormick had been airlifted to Halifax with life threatening injuries after the crash at the intersection of East and Fourth streets at around 10:30 on Friday night.

On Monday, Regional Police said their investigation into the crash was continuing.
