Glace Bay Man Killed in Sydney-Glace Bay Highway Crash

Regional Police say a Glace Bay man is dead after a 2-vehicle collision on the Sydney-Glace Bay Highway this morning.

Police say the crash happened near the Tim Horton’s and Ultramar when a vehicle traveling towards Sydney collided with a second vehicle traveling in the opposite direction.

Police say the Glace Bay man was driving the first vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The woman driving the second vehicle was taken to the Regional Hospital for assessment of minor injuries.

The drivers were the only people in both vehicles.

Police say they’re still investigating in the area and are warning people to expect delays.
