A Glace Bay man says he had a close call in Sunday’s Las Vegas shooting.
Travis Turner was on his way to the outdoor concert where 59 people were killed and more than 500 wounded in the worst mass shooting in US history.
The Regional Police constable says he got in a cab and asked to be taken to the event.
That’s when he learned the shooting had just happened.
Three Canadians were killed in the shooting, five were injured and another is missing.
