Glace Bay Man Handed Fine Under Health Protection Act

A 24 year-old Glace Bay man has been fined under the Health Protection Act after Regional Police say he refused to wear a mask inside a local business.

Police say they got a call at about 2:30 yesterday afternoon about a man refusing to wear a mask in the Canadian Tire store in Glace Bay.

They were also told the man refused to leave the store.

Police say the man was fined over $2,400.
