Glace Bay Man Dies A Week After Being Hit By Vehicle

A Glace Bay man has died due to injuries sustained in an incident that occurred last weekend. Cape Breton Regional Police responded to Leslie Lane in Glace Bay last Sunday morning, where a woman allegedly hit her boyfriend with a vehicle following a domestic dispute. The man, who has yet to be identified, was transported to the Regional Hospital for treatment and was later brought to the QEII in Halifax, where he died last night. A woman was arrested in connection to the case, but was released without charges on Wednesday. Police say the case remains under investigation, and investigators will be meeting with Crown Prosecutors tomorrow to decide if there’s enough evidence to press any charges.
