Glace Bay Man Dead After A Duplex Fire

Regional Police say a 54-year-old man is dead after a house fire in Glace Bay early this morning.

Police say they and the fire department were called to a duplex on Concord St. at around 1 am.

Police go on to say they saw a man inside the home and was taken to Glace Bay Hospital where he died from injuries.

Nobody else was in the home at the time and there were no other injuries.

The Fire Marshal’s Office and Regional Police’s ID section are investigating to determine  the cause of the fire.
