An early-morning fire yesterday in Glace Bay has displaced three people from their home.
The fire broke out at around 5 yesterday morning, and caused serious damage to an older, two-storey house on Beacon Street.
No one was injured in the blaze.
The Canadian Red Cross says their volunteers are helping the three people with emergency lodging, food, clothing, and other essentials.
Incidentally, the Red Cross says they’re currently looking for more volunteers in Cape Breton and throughout the Atlantic provinces.
