The Nova Scotia Health Authority says the closure is due to a lack of physician coverage.
The NSHA says anyone in need of urgent medical care should call 911; anyone looking for non-urgent medical care should call their family doctor or visit a walk-in clinic if there’s one available nearby.
Glace Bay’s ER will reopen tomorrow morning at 7.
