by The Regional Municipality says the intersection of George and Townsend Streets in Sydney is closed again today to allow for repaving after a water main upgrade.
The work was scheduled to take place yesterday, but was postponed because of rain.
The closure affects George Street from Brookland to Falmouth Street and Townsend Street from Bentinck to Douglas Street.
The municipality also says businesses along the affected route are open during the intersection closure.
The detour is also affecting the Number 8, 11 and 13 transit buses.
