Geoff MacLellan Appointed Chair Of Halifax Housing Task Force

Former Glace Bay MLA Geoff MacLellan has a new job.

MacLellan will chair the province’s five-person panel on housing for the Halifax Regional Municipality.

The task force is part of the Progressive Conservative government’s effort to address a housing shortage in the province.

Premier Tim Houston says former Liberal cabinet minister MacLellan is well-versed on the issues related to housing, and will be able to get up to speed quickly.

The province says MacLellan’s pay has yet to be determined but it will be shared publicly when it’s set.
