Gas Prices To Change Overnight

There’s going to be an early change in the price of gas this week.

The province’s Utility and Review Board says it’s invoking its interrupter clause to make a change to gas prices at midnight tonight.

The price is diesel will not be affected.

Gas went over two dollars a litre for the first time with the regularly scheduled reset on Friday.

A litre of gas is now selling for a minimum of $2.00.5 a litre in Cape Breton.

Diesel is now going for a minimum of $2.47.8 cents a litre on the island.
