Gas prices rise in time for New Year

Cape Breton motorists are paying a little bit more at the pump as the New Year kicks off.

The price of gas rose by 7 tenths of a cent yesterday, to a minimum $1.03 per litre.

Diesel dropped about half a cent, to a minimum of $1.01.8.
