Gas prices drop again overnight

Nova Scotians are getting a bit of a break at the pump this morning after the provincial utility and review board invoked its interrupter clause again overnight.

Regular gas went down by almost ten cents a litre, and now costs $1.74.2 per litre on Cape Breton Island.

Diesel now goes for a minimum of $1.84.1 a liter in Cape Breton, a drop of 17 and a half cents a litre.

Gas prices rose by about 30 cents per litre this month after the provincial regulator invoked the interrupter clause three times.
