Gas Price Hits Another New Record High

A new record high was set for the price of gas overnight after the previous record was set just a week ago.

The price jumped by 4 cents a litre and gas now goes for a minimum of $1.58.4 in Cape Breton.

Diesel went up by 4.1 cents and the minimum price for a litre of diesel on the Island is now $1.65.6.
