Gas Predicted To Go Up, Overnight

Analysts are predicting a jump in gas prices ahead of the Canada Day long weekend.

An increase of about 4 cents a litre is being forecast.

Meanwhile, the price of gas in New Brunswick went up by 4.2 cents a litre, last night.

Diesel there rose by 2.6 cents.

The minimum price for a litre of regular gas in Cape Breton is now $1.13.1.

Diesel now goes for a minimum of $1.12.5 on the Island.
