The price of gas went down overnight after the Utility and Review Board invoked its interrupter clause.
Gas fell by 5 cents a litre and now goes for a minimum of $1.85.3 in Cape Breton.
The price of diesel didn’t change.
It still goes for a minimum of $2.13.3 cents a litre on the island.
Meanwhile, there’s no clear picture this morning on which way gas and diesel prices will go overnight, tonight when the UARB makes its regular weekly price adjustments.
