by The price of gas and diesel went up overnight after the Energy Board used its interrupter clause to change the price early this week.
Gas increased by 7.2 cents a litre and now goes for a minimum of $1.84.9 in Cape Breton.
Diesel took an even bigger jump of 10.9 cents.
The minimum price for a litre of diesel on the Island is now $2.48.6 cents.
