As predicted, the price of gas and diesel went up, overnight.

Gas increased by 3.1 cents a litre and now goes for a minimum of $1.77.2 in Cape Breton.

Diesel edged up by 1.7 cents.

The minimum price for a litre of diesel on the Island is now $1.91.7.
