As predicted, the price of gas went up overnight.
Gas jumped by 1.4 cents a litre and now goes for a minimum of $1.35.5 in Cape Breton.
Diesel also went up by 1.4 cents and now costs a minimum of $1.28.8 cents a litre on the island.
