The price of gas went up by more than predicted, overnight.
Gas jumped by 3.1 cents a litre and now goes for a minimum of $1.40 in Cape Breton.
Diesel went up by 2.1 cents and now costs a minimum of $1.27.2 cents a litre on the Island.
