The price of gas took an unexpected jump, overnight.
Gas went up by 2.3 cents a litre and now goes for a minimum of 89.1 cents in Cape Breton.
Diesel edged up by 1.4 cents and now costs a minimum of 80.9 cents a litre on the Island.
