As predicted, the price of gas went up overnight.
Gas rose by 1.4 cents a litre and now goes for a minimum of 97.9 cents in Cape Breton.
Meanwhile, diesel took a jump of 3 cents a litre and now costs a minimum of 89.4 cents on the Island.
