As predicted, the price of gas went up overnight.
Gas jumped by 2.5 cents a litre and now goes for a minimum of $1.05 cents in Cape Breton.
Meanwhile, diesel went up by 2.3 cents and now costs a minimum of 91.4 cents a litre on the Island.
